This article introduces the new Integrations section in the admin panel, focusing on the Chat Integrations feature. It highlights the Slack Integration V2, its functionalities, and deployment updates. It also guides users on how to enable this plugin and connect Answerhub and Slack users.

You may have noticed the new Integrations section in the left nav of your admin panel and the Chat Integrations section just below it.

The chat integrations are designed to support multiple (up to 3) concurrent chat / messaging system integrations concurrently. Our first integration that works with this new framework is the Slack Integration V2 which was first released in version 2.23.0 with some initial deployments, and has now been further enhanced so that threaded replies from slack can flow into answerhub as answers and comments and that questions can originate from slack and flow into answerhub. Additionally, users can configure their notification preferences to receive notifications of events in AnswerHub through slack.
