Overview

This feature allows users to Upvote or Downvote all types of posts within a Hub. When enabled, an up and down arrow button appears next to the title of a post. This article will guide you on how to enable this feature.

To turn on Vote Up/Vote Down voting, here is what you need to do::

1. Using an Admin account, click on your Avatar and go the Administration to access the administration panel.
2. Navigate to Site > Layout > Theme Variations.
3. Click on the Inactive button next to the Votes option for both the Control Bar and Node Left to Activate the option as seen below:
   

Summary

By default, AnswerHub ships with the Like/Unlike variation on Voting. By enabling the Votes option as per the instructions above, the Like/Dislike options will be changed to Upvote/Downvote.

FAQ

1. What could cause the upvote/downvote buttons to disappear?
   The buttons could disappear due to changes in settings or permissions, or if the voting option has been disabled in favor of the Like/Unlike option.
2. What should I do if the voting buttons are not functioning?
   Clear the browser's cache and the log back in to the Hub.
